Russian ruble rises 51 kopecks to 36.8 per US dollar
MOSCOW, Sep 4 (PRIME) -- The weighted average rate of the Russian ruble with tomorrow settlement increased 51.46 kopecks against the U.S. dollar to 36.8038, the Moscow Exchange said on Thursday.
The official rate of the Russian ruble against the euro rose by 64.27 kopecks to 48.3786 rubles.
The central bank uses the weighted average rate to set the official ruble rate for tomorrow.
The value of the dual-currency basket, comprising U.S. $0.55 and 0.45 euros, decreased 57.22 kopecks to 42.0125 rubles.
